Account and security
Your password rules, and what happens to your sessions when you change it.
Password requirements
A password must be:
- At least 8 characters long,
- with at least one uppercase letter,
- and at least one digit.
The same rule applies everywhere a password is set โ first login, a change you make, and a reset an administrator performs.
Changing your password logs out other sessions
When you change your password, every session that was signed in with the old password stops working immediately. This is deliberate: if someone else held a session, changing your password ends it at once rather than leaving it valid.
- You change the passwordFrom your account settings, with the new password meeting the rules above.
- Old sessions are revokedAny other device or browser still signed in with the old password is signed out on its next request.
- Sign in againUse the new password on each device you want to keep using.
Provisioned accounts
If your account was set up for you, sign in with the credentials you were given and set your own password. Until you place your first call, the portal shows a short welcome that points you to your rates and records.
If you are locked out
Repeated failed sign-in attempts from one location are rate-limited for a short window. Wait a few minutes and try again, or ask your administrator to reset your password.
